Hello, neighbor.
We are Brett and Katelynne Hahn, a husband and wife from Wolcottville, Indiana. We have two kids, a deep love for our community, and a genuine conviction that the local church is one of the most important institutions in any town.
We attend Shore Church in Shipshewana, a non-denominational congregation. Brett grew up Catholic. Katelynne grew up Methodist. Between us we have sat in a lot of pews, and we have a firsthand appreciation for how different traditions approach worship, community, and ministry.
Brett spent fifteen years building customer technology for some of the largest brands in the country: Caesars Entertainment, Vail Resorts, and Comcast. He built loyalty programs, CRM systems, and digital products used by millions of people. He also built the Freed Bible app at freedbyjesus.com, a Christian formation app rooted in Galatians 5:1.
We started Freed Church because we kept seeing the same problem: great congregations stuck with technology that was either too expensive, too complicated, or built for a megachurch ten times their size. We can fix that. And we feel called to.
